Seminar on Environmental Issues to Raise Awareness among Micro Entrepreneurs and other Stakeholders

A seminar has been organized with the aim of increasing environmental awareness among small entrepreneurs and other stakeholders. The purpose of the "Promotion of Safe Street Food Management Practices" project is to increase environmental awareness among small entrepreneurs and ensure safe food production while maintaining a sustainable environment. With this objective in mind, seminars on enhancing environmental awareness have been organized in areas such as Dhaka and Rangpur. Each batch consists of 25 participants, and through these seminars, more than 25 entrepreneurs are being made aware of environmental issues. The main goals of the seminar are to create awareness among small entrepreneurs about the environment, sustainable environment, the importance of a sustainable environment, environmental pollution, how the environment gets polluted, types of environmental pollution, waste management, safe food preparation while maintaining the environment, etc. Additionally, the seminar focuses on reducing environmental pollution, especially soil, water, and air pollution, by eliminating the use of plastic, avoiding the use of burnt oil and proper disposal of used oil in designated areas. Various technologies are also being utilized for recycling purposes. The project is being implemented under the Padakhep Manabik Unnayan Kendra of the Sustainable Enterprise Project (SEP) of the Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation with comprehensive support from the World Bank.
