Training for the ME`s on Environmental Awareness

The main objective of the "Promotion of Safe Street Food Management Practices" project is to ensure safe street food in the hands of urban residents. Additionally, another objective of this project is to demonstrate how food can be prepared and presented in an environmentally friendly manner. It also aims to create a sustainable environment for future generations without causing environmental pollution. The primary purpose of environmental awareness training in this project is to educate and raise awareness among small entrepreneurs about how to protect the environment and reduce environmental pollution. Another objective of the project is to reduce the use of cooking oil. To ensure safe food, the repeated use of the same oil is avoided, and measures are taken to prevent any form of contamination. The project also aims to promote adherence to environmental practices, collaboration with environmental authorities, the significance of environmental certification, and proper waste management for entrepreneurs. This sub-project is being implemented under the Sustainable Enterprise Project (SEP) within the scope of the comprehensive support of the Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation with the financial assistance of the World Bank.
